A hotel steeped in history near
Saint-Germain-des-Prés

Experience part of the history of Paris during your stay. The walls of the Hôtel d'Orsay have so many stories to tell...
A unique story
The beautiful late 18th century building in which the Hôtel d'Orsay is located was once owned by Napoleon I's surgeon.
The hotel opened its doors in 1897, while the Orsay railway station was under construction. The building, which is now the Musée d'Orsay and was classified as a historical monument at the end of the 1970s, is just a stone's throw from the hotel.

A place of art and luxury
The Hôtel d'Orsay welcomes guests in keeping with the spirit of the place and its over 100 years of hotel tradition. You have the privilege of sleeping next to a work of art.
Once you have closed the door of your room, you will be able to admire the refined turban of Portrait of a Man, the harmonious pearls in the hair of Venus and Cupid, or the freshness of The Girl with the Birdcage.
Art in your room
The art collection at the Hôtel is in line with that of the Musée d'Orsay collections: a period stretching from the mid-19th century to the beginning of the First World War (with some exceptions).
Esprit de France regularly makes new acquisitions to enrich the collection and bring it to life.
